That Is Frickin' Insane! The First Trailer For Avengers:Endgame Has Arrived!

Hello nerds!

You know why you’re here. Enjoy!

Oh wow! So many thoughts, I’m going to need some time to process everything they did and DID NOT show us in the trailer.

First off, why in the fuck did the studio wait so damn long to release the official tile? Considering the frickin title leaked over the summer, all the secrecy seems a bit silly. Anyhow, back to the actual footage itself.

It’s excruciatingly annoying that we get no hint of a plot for this latest Avengers movie, nor do we see any of the other surviving members of “The Decimation” other than the OG Avengers, Ant-Man, Thanos and Nebula. However, it was pretty cool to see Hawkeye don the Ronin persona for a brief glimpse, but the lack of Rocket, Okoye or really anyone outside of the actual Avengers paints a dire picture for the future of the universe.

Speaking of dire, we had high hopes the Avengers would look towards the new genius in the MCU, Shuri, for help, but thanks to a brief shot in the trailer, it’s seemingly inferred the newest Disney Princess did not survive the events of Infinity War either. Frickin’ bummer, for sure. Let’s hope the next trailer we get offers a bit more substance as to what we can expect when The Avengers team up with Captain Marvel. Until then, The countdown is now officially on. And how about the earlier release date?

For those unfamiliar, Avengers:Endgame was originally slated hit theaters in the US on May 3, 2019, but thanks the everso vague release date of “April 2019”, we’ll get to see exactly how the New Avengers restore order in the universe. And with the extremely small chance a miracle happens and either Reynolds’ Wade Wilson or Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine make their MCU debuts in the film, how can we not be shitting ourselves with excitement? How cool would that be?

We’re only a couple of months away from Captain Marvel heading to Earth to end the Kree/Skrull war, so for now, we’ll wait patiently for any and all new footage from either film. I know things look bleak, but the future of the MCU does indeed look bright, so let’s enjoy it. With sequels coming Black Panther, Doctor Strange and Spiderman, with a possible trailer for the latter coming tomorrow, is there any reason not to be excited for the future of the MCU?

Avengers:Endgame is in theaters in April 26, 2019.

For pudding, here’s the official poster.
