Rule #34: Always Do A Sequel. Zombieland 2 Is Happening
What better way to celebrate the 10th anniversary of 2009's Zombieland, than with the premiere of the long awaited sequel. Not only that, but the original creative team and cast are all set to return.
Per a report from Deadline, Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin and Jesse Eisenberg are returning to their respective roles, with director Ruben Fleischer is back at the helm and Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick will serve as both writers and executive producers. Who's excited?
The report also sheds a bit of light on what we can expect to see in the film as we catch up with Tallahassee, Columbus, Wichita and Little Rock as they adjust to the world, new zomibes and each other.
The only real question remaining is, just how zombified will Bill Murray be when he returns?
Zombieland 2 goes into production in the beginning of next year, and is slated for release in October 2019.
