It's Time Travel, Zombies, & An Evil Talking Gorilla In The Wild Trailer For Doom Patrol Season 3
Hello nerds!
One of the best superhero shows of all-time is finally back, and the trailer teases the biggest and zaniest season of Doom Patrol yet.
For those unfamiliar, Doom Patrol follows a team of superheroes, who have some of the most tragic and heartbreaking origin stories ever. And it’s their individual tragedies which ultimately bring them together, as face off against some of the weirdest and most fantastic heroes, villains, and everything in between their universe has to offer.
When we last saw our heroes, most of the Doom Patrol were sort of frozen in time after the Chief’s long-lost daughter Dorothy summoned the evil entity known as Candlemaker. Seemingly, the team survives to only then be thrown into another world ending scenario. But first, they must figure out their place in the world, and if they actually want to team up and save it.
Plus, things go from bad to more bad after Madame Rouge arrives at Doom Manor (in a time machine) to warn the team about this season’s big bad, the Brotherhood of Evil. Said supervillain squad includes an evil brain in a bot (aptly named Brain), and his superintelligent gorilla assistant, Monsieur Mallah.
I cannot wait to see this.
Starring Diane Guerrero, Brendan Fraser, Joivan Wade, Matt Bomer, April Bowlby, Timothy Dalton, Abigail Monterey, Mark Sheperd and Michelle Gomez, the third season of Doom Patrol premieres on HBO Max on September 23, 2021.
