I Just Want To Ragnarok & Roll All Night, Again. Taika Waititi Met With Marvel!
In a welcomed return to good news about the Marvel CInematic Universe, it's been revealed Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi has indeed met with Marvel. Granted, the purpose of this meeting was not revealed, but indeed it does fuel speculation the amazingly talented director will be helming another movie for Marvel.
According to THR, Marvel Studios recently met with Taika Waititi and with the timing of all of the hullabaloo surrounding the Guardians of the Galaxy and former director/still writer James Gunn, it stands to reason Waititi could be taking over the Guardians. If you've seen Thor: Ragnarok, you'd know there really is no better director for the job.
Thor: Ragnarok largely taking place on other planets; featuring a gaggle of alien species (naturally), sort of already felt like an extension of the Guardians of the Galaxy. And Waititi's unique, and downright hilarious, sense of humor could lend itself quite nicely to Thor's favorite morons. Rabbit and Tree, not included. Plus, when considering the superb job Taika Waititi did with Thor: Ragnarok, his involvement in Thor 4 seems like a no-brainer.
And come on, who doesn't want to see Their reunited with the morons as they get into all sorts of spacey hijinks? Let's hope Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax Mantis and the other half of existence all get de-crumbled, when Captain Marvel returns to save the Avengers in the somewhat disappointingly titled Avengers 4.
