For Those About To Rock Westeros, Fire... And Ice! The Teaser For Game Of Thrones Last Season Is Here
HBO has released the first official promo for the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones, but brace yourselves. Much like the somewhat vague trailer for Avengers:Endgame, this tease sheds no frickin’ light on what we can expect. Well, other than “Fire and Ice”, but we already kinda knew that. No?
Bring. That. Shit.
And holy shit! So much foreshadowing with the waves of fire engulfing the lion, the ice rolling over the wolf and dragon and then the fire and ice crashed together to form a wall of what appears to be Dragonglass. Dude. That’s a great teaser. I never thought I would look forward to the month of April, but thanks to this show I finally am.
Besides the rumored new Baby Targaryen and the possibility of The Kingslayer becoming a White Walker, the return of some beloved characters who were thought to be dead, and Cersei Lannister’s possible method of demise being revealed, the last season of Game of Thrones should be quite the spectacle, with their movie-length runtimes.
Only 6 episode remain, so let’s hope we get some resolution to the battle for the Iron Throne before all icey hell breaks loose, and the army of the walking & frozen dead make their way to King's Landing.
The eighth and final season of Game of Thrones returns this April on HBO.
Our own Ben Knight attended the For The Love Of Sci-Fi from Manchester, England and he had a chance to speak with Governor Jesse Ventura. Mr. Ventura was as delightfully candid as you’d expect when talking about a possible presidential run in 2020 and his thoughts on the current POTUS.
