Well, this is interesting. Danny McBride and David Gordon Green are writing a new Halloween movie, with Green serving as director. Seems a bit surprising right? Brace yourselves. The surprising part is horror icon and slight curmudgeon John Carpenter, has given his rare approval of the latest reboot of the 1978 horror classic.
Carpenter heaped some high praise on the concept that was pitched and took to his Facebook to announce the project.
Danny McBride had some words of reassurance to offer as well.
So, there you have it nerds. It's hard not to be excited about this movie. McBride and Gordon have a slew of great writing credits between them and Green is a solid director, so no worries there. Add the crunchy goodness of an OG Horror meister and we could be looking at a true return to form for the Haddonfield Boogeyman.
