Who Wants Second Helpings Of Punishment? Marvel's The Punisher Is Officially Renewed!

Well, that was quick. Just over a month after its debut, Netflix has announced that Marvel's The Punisher, starring Jon Bernthal, has officially been renewed for a second season.
Following a fantastic debut on November 17, which I binged in one sitting, The Punisher has received a pretty favorable response, from critics and fans alike. So, a second season seemed like a foregone conclusion, but it is noice to have the official confirmation.
Plot details remain under wraps, but showrunner Steve Lightfoot teased to Entertainment Weekly, that while Frank will look to add some new pages to his War Journal, we could expect to see the return of Billy Russo (Ben Barnes), only this time I'd assume he'll be a bit more Jigsaw-y.
“In the event of a season 2, which I desperately want to do, we will very quickly find him a new war to fight. I think we left both Frank and Billy in places where there are so many ways to jump off from if that second season comes. We can do anything with them, in truth.”
Bring it! I've got an itch only a new season of Frank Castle punishing evildoers can scratch. Marvel's The Punisher Season 1 is currently available on Netflix. Speaking of, I might as well settle in for a third viewing.
