Hello nerds!

While not necessarily bad news, this isn't good news either. I'm sad to tell you that our days of seeing strange things in and around the creepy hamlet of Hawkins, Indiana are nearly at an end. Yes friends, the amazing Netflix show Stranger Things indeed has an end date and indeed it feels way too soon. Even if it is 2 years from now.

In an interview with Vulture, The Duffer brothers (creators, writers and directors of Stranger Things) shockingly revealed that the wildly popular phenomeon they created would be ending after only 4 seasaons on Netflix. Total.

We’re thinking it will be a four-season thing and then out,” - Ross.

“We just have to keep adjusting the story, though I don’t know if we can justify something bad happening to them once a year.” - Matt

“They’re going to have to get the fuck out of this town! It’s ridiculous!” - Ross

Ah, fuck man. While I realize that all good things come to an end, should the same apply if those things are both good and strange? Stranger Things season 2 will be available for multi-binges on Netflix on October 27.

To ease your woes, check out some of amazing posters for the upcoming season courtesy of the Stranger Things Twitter. These two are amazing mashups of Stranger Things and two true classics of the Sci-Fi and Horror genres, Alien and Firestarter.
