Primed For An Early Release. DC's Aquaman Arrives Early Courtesy Of Amazon

Hello nerds!

If you just can’t wait to see the next offering to the DC cinematic universe, then you’re in luck. As long as you’ve got Amazon Prime.

According to Release News, Amazon Prime subscribers will be offered the chance to see the DC's Aquaman on Saturday, December 15. Which, if my math is right, is 5 days before it hits theaters all across the USA on December 21, 2018. This practice has happened before with Amazon, as they’ve done similar early screenings for the latest Jumanji and Hotel Transvlynia movies.

The Amazon Prime advance screenings of Aquaman will be at 7pm on December 15, and the select theaters are said to include Regal Cinemas, Cinepolis, Bow Tie Cinemas, ArcLight, Showcase Cinemas and Studio Movie Grill. Tickets should be available soon for Prime members to purchase. As if I needed another reason to be excited for this movie.

Seeing Jason Momoa as Aquaman in that fantastic looking trailer was a sight for sore eyes, the CGI looks like it’s off the frickin’ chain, the rest of the cast of the movie is terrific and with a diretor like James Wan, the pieces are there for Aquaman to be great. And it needs to be.

Between this movie, Wonder Woman 1984, James Gunn taking over the Suicide Squad, and Joaquin Phoenix absolutely killing it as The Joker, all hope is not yet lost for DC films. Let’s hope they fuck this up.

Warner Bros. and DC have enough problems on their hands what with Henry Cavill being done as Superman and Ben Affleck no returning as Batman. Already trying to replace two of the founding members of the Justice League is difficult enough, without having to worry about Aquaman tanking at the box office.

I am officially excited as fudge to see this movie. Anyone else?
