No Boba, No Problem. Here's The Trailer For Star Wars:The Mandalorian On Disney+

Hello nerds!

As we all expected, Star Wars released the first trailer for the upcoming series The Mandalorian on Disney+, and it does not disappoint. In fact, it may well be the very thing we’ve been looking for. The Star Wars we love, but characters we don’t know. Mostly. You see, the series is set in the largely unexplored time between the fall of the Empire and the rise of the First Order. Frickin’ awesome, right?

In the trailer, we get glimpses of some very action-heavy sequences featuring The Mandalorian doing some super-bounty hunter type things, some quick shots of a few of the main cast, and (I can’t believe I’m saying this) none other than the galaxy’s most deadly droid assassin, IG-88, looking so damn badass. With shows for The Mandalorian, Obi-Wan Kenobi, our new Captain America, Scarlet Witch and Vision, and The God Of Mischief, Disney+ looks like they’re trying to dominate the other streaming services from the start. Which is no easy feat, but I like their chances.

And thanks to the timeline of when the show is set, we could see The Mandalorian on the big screen when The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters this Christmas.

But first, The Mandalorian premieres on Disney+ on November 12, 2019.

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. “The Mandalorian” is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.
