Hello nerds!

Courtesy of Hellboy creator Mike Mignola, we've got our first official look at David Harbor as the titular hero from the forthcoming Neil Marshall reboot, and holy shit. It's just plain lovely.

Dude. It's good to see that Anung Un Rama knows "How to lift, bro". While, it's not unfair to say this look is pretty similar to the Ron Perlman version, at the end of the day how different could it really be?

The original look of Hellboy from the GDT films was amazing, but let's be honest, this new version is amazing as well. This look for Hellboy pays homage to the original, while arguably veering more comic faithful with some of the finer details.

It looks like they've added some muscle and increased the overall badassness of our hero, while taking full advantage of the 6' 3" that Harbour is bringing to the table. I'm excited to see how it looks when it moves and I really can't wait to hear what Harbour does with the voice. I've got chills and they're multiplying. Chills, I tell you.

Here's a high-res version for those that want to drool over each and every delicious, little pixel.

Hellboy is currently in production in Bulgaria and is expected to smash its way into theaters in 2018.
