Danny McBride Made A Sequel To Crocodile Dundee & There's A Teaser Trailer

Hello nerds!

That's not a knife, but it's a real motherfucker of a surprise. Dundee: The Son of a Legend Returns Home stars Danny McBride as Brian Dundee. Brian is the son of the legendary Mick Dundee, colloquially known as Crocodile. What in the very real fuck?

A synopsis of the plot can be found on the film's IMDB page, but that's about it. Plus, we've actually got a teaser trailer for the movie, because it's already completed. Apparently.

If you think about it, there really isn't anyone better than Danny McBride to soft reboot one of the most well-liked films of the 80s. From what we know of his reboot of Halloween, it sounds like it'll be a true return to form for the ailing franchise and it's not like Son of a Legend can be any worse than Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles. So, why not McBride?

I'll watch anything that McBride is in (I'll refer you to Alien:Covenant and The Heartbreak Kid as proof), because he's talented as hell and can instantly put me into a giggle fit. So, I'm already up for this film based upon the synopsis and teaser alone, but when you factor in Paul Hogan reprising his role as the OG Dundee, Son of a Legend could turn into a surprise hit. At the very least, it'll be good for a laugh or two. Afterall, Danny McBride really seems to have the role figured out.

In an interview with People,  the stars of Dundee: The Son of a Legend Returns Home shared their thoughts and McBride reveals the secret to being "Crocodile".

The first man to don the vest and grin of Mick Dundee, Paul Hogan, seems fairly excited for the chance to return to his iconic character. In the continuing trend of making the 80s popular again, it would've been a disappointment if he wasn't in the film.

Dundee: The Son of a Legend Returns Home is set to hit theaters this summer, but I really think they should aim for an April 20th release date. It's the obvious choice.
