Called It! It's Symbiote vs Symbiote! Carnage is the villain in Venom!

Hello friends!

Thanks to THR, we can confirm a few things we've talked about the past few weeks and by god, we're on the fecking money. Again. Eddie Brock aka Venom will be an anti-hero of sorts and serve to build the separate "R-rated" Spider-Man universe until Spidey graduates high school and in doing so, Venom face off against that horrifying, ginger, alien-symbiote covered murderer, Carnage.

For those who are unfamiliar, here's some background on Carnage. After Eddie Brock was locked up for his crimes as Venom, his pregnant alien symbiote broke him out of prison. While this was going on, his symbiote's spawn slipped away and bonded with his cellmate, a serial killing whackjob named Cletus Kasady. Kasady and the symbiote bonded to create Carnage, who's 3 times stronger than Spider-Man and Venom, can shapeshift, he's able to put thoughts into other people's minds and he's bat-shit crazy. Jesus, that's terrifying.

Add this news to the recent reports that projects are being developed for Kraven the Hunter and Mysterio, it seems as though the Sinister Six will be joining the likes of Venom, Carnage, Silver Sable, Black Cat and others to welcome Spider-Man to adulthood. So. Much. Yay.

So, who would you cast as Carnage? They've got to be terrifying and a natural redhead wouldn't hurt either. It's just easier to focus on the actor and not "how goofy so and so looks as a redhead". They don't necessarily have to be as jacked as Tom Hardy, but it couldn't hurt. To my mind, they could do no better than Damian Lewis.

Right? Venom swings into theaters October 5, 2018.
