Accio, November! The Final Trailer For The Crimes Of Grindelwald Has Arrived
This newest and final trailer for the upcoming, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, features a plethora of new footage and from the looks of thing, this film will not disappoint. Plus, thanks to the confirmation of a major spoiler, the groundwork has been laid for a young Tom Riddle to appear in the next movie.
Wands at the ready, because the Wizarding World is about to go to war.
The Crimes of Grindelwald is going to be bananas, B-A-N-A-N-A-S.
After months and months of speculation, we can finally confirm Claudia Kim’s mysterious role as a Maledictus in the movie, is indeed named Nagini. For those unfamiliar, a Maledictus is an person whose blood was cursed, and this curse causes them to turn into a beast. In Nagini’s case, a snake. Well, not just any snake.
She becomes THE snake in the Wizarding World. Through a series of yet untold events, she becomes the prized companion of He Who Must Not Be Named, as well as one of his seven Horcruxes. Seeing as how these two characters are so closely tied together, it stands to reason we’ll be seeing some version of the Dark Lord pop up in this franchise before it’s over.
Tom Riddle was born in 1926, which is the same year the Fantastic Beasts 1 was set and this one primarily takes place the following year, 1927. Well, the great duel between Grindelwald and Dumbledore doesn’t take place until 1945, and with that sort of a time jump between this movie and the final chapter to the Fantastic Beasts films, I think it’s we’re virtually guaranteed to see Lord Voldemort show up. Which would be fucking brilliant.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald apparates into theaters on November 16, 2018.
